HOUSTON (Oct. 5) — Houston Oilers legend Dan Pastorini’s annual fundraiser for Be An Angel will be a three-day affair that includes a Joe Diffie concert at the Redneck Country Club on Saturday, Oct. 14, a star-studded poker tournament and gala at Marriott Sugar Land Town Square on Sunday, Oct. 15, and a golf tournament with a multitude of celebrities at Quail Valley Golf Course on Monday, Oct. 16. All three events are open to the public.
“I think we have something for everyone this year,” Pastorini said. “Joe Diffie is one of the top country music singers in the world, playing poker with a bunch of NFL players and celebrities is sure to be a blast and then hitting Quail Valley for a day of golf with a huge group of Houston sports legends and NFL stars from across the league will be the perfect way to cap this three-day event.
“We all know Houston has taken huge hit from Hurricane Harvey but in true Texas spirit, we’re all pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps and rebuilding our great city. I know it’s time for everyone to have a little fun, and it also should be noted that Be An Angel wasn’t exempt from taking a blow from the storm. It is our hope we can help everyone that wonderful charity supports get their lives back in order as well.”
