ABBOTTSTOWN, Penn. (Feb. 21) – Kris Kaiser, principal owner of K-Hill Motorsports, has announced an extraordinary agreement with Tony Ave to sell and support the highly anticipated Ave-Riley AR2 LMP3 racecar.
K-Hill Motorsports is one the most respected names in motorsports, in particular open-wheel racing. With Kaiser at the helm, the legendary racecar design and production company offers a full-service prep shop and complete race team services for Formula Atlantic, Formula Continental, Formula Mazda, Formula Ford, Formula Honda, Swift 016, C-Sports Racer, and Vintage cars.
In 2015, veteran racecar builder and driver Tony Ave began a collaboration with Riley Technologies to design and build an LMP3 coupe in the Charlotte, N.C. area. With today’s announcement the new American-built Ave-Riley LMP3 racer will ready to race with the full backing of K-Hill Motorsports unparalleled sales and service.
“Adding K-Hill Motorsports as a distributor of our LMP3 car will not only strengthen our customer support in IMSA but will have an immediate and positive impact with the SCCA and track day marketplace,” Ave said. “I have been very impressed with Kris’ dominant position in that area for many years, and am really pleased we are able to start working together.”
With final testing and development concluding, the Ave-Riley AR2 is on track to be an out-of-the-box championship contender in the 2017 IMSA and ELMS seasons. With K-Hill Motorsports’ long-standing pedigree of cranking out championship-winning racecars, the Ave-Riley AR2 is poised for long-term success at the highest level.

The new deal not only sets a course for sales and service support of the Ave-Riley AR2 by K-Hill Motorsports it also lays out an unprecedented tact for potential owners to put the newly christened racer through its paces under the expert tutelage of the team at K-Hill and much more.

The Ave-Riley AR-2 features a carbon fiber chassis and a steel roll cage. The side radiators cool a 5-liter Nissan V-8 capable of producing almost 450 horsepower.
